Abstract

The rhodacyclobutane [[graphic omitted]H₂(η⁵)-C₅Me₅)(PPh₃)] and the ortho-metallated compound [[graphic omitted](C₆H₅)₂(CH₂CMe₃)(η⁵-C₅Me₅)] are formed in the reaction of [RhCl₂(η⁵-C₅Me₅(PPh₃)] with LiCH₂CMe₃ or XMgCH₂CMe₃.
