Abstract

The η1-Ph2PCH2PPh2(dppm) complexes [Pt(C[triple bond, length half m-dash]CR)2(η1-dppm)2](R = Ph, p-tolyl, or Me) are used to give high-yield syntheses of heterobimetallic complexes with AgI, AuI, HgII, or CdII, in which the d10-metal can be 2-, 3-, or 4-co-ordinate.
