Evidence that the fluorescence of phenyldisilanes involves the 1(2pπ, 3dπ) intramolecular charge-transfer state

Abstract

Evidence that the fluorescence of phenyldisilanes in polar media involves the 1(2pπ, 3dπ;) intramolecular charge-transfer state is given by the effect of steric twisting on the emission.
