Abstract

Heating [Mo2(CO)4(η-C5H5)2] with ethyl diazoacetate yields [Mo3(N)(O)(CO)4(η-C5H5)3], shown by X-ray diffarction to contain a nitrogen atom with T-Shaped co-ordination, bound to three molybdenum atoms.
