Determination of decoquinate in poultry feed

Abstract

A high-performance liquid chromatographic method using gradient elution and a fluorescence detector has been developed for the determination of the coccidiostat decoquinate in poultry feed. Recoveries are over 90% at levels down to 1 mg kg–1 and the presence of buquinolate, nequinate, clopidol, amprolium, dimetridazole, arprinocid or sulphaquinoxaline in the feed does not interfere in the determination.
