Gas-chromatographic determination of 1-(2-chloroethyl)-3-(trans-4-methylcyclohexyl)-1-nitrosourea (methyl-CCNU). Part III. Denitrosation to the parent urea
Abstract
Denitrosation of methyl-CCNU in situ and trifluoroacetylation of the resulting urea has been employed for the gas-chromatographic determination of the drug in urine samples obtained from a patient. Plasma samples require to be extracted prior to analysis by this procedure. The chemical stability of methyl-CCNU in urine has been assessed.
