Mono-η-cyclopentadienylmolybdenum chemistry. Some oxo-, oxohalogeno-, halogeno-, thio-, η-disulphido-, and thiohalogeno-derivatives

Abstract

The new compounds [Mo(η-C₅H₄Me)Cl₄] and [Mo(η-C₅H₄R)Cl₃(OH)], where R = Prⁱ or Buⁿ, [{Mo(η-C₅H₄R)(µ-O)O}₂], R = Me, Prⁱ, or Buⁿ, [{Mo(η-C₅H₅)Ol}₂(µ-O)], [Cl(η-C₅H₅)Mo(µ-SMe)₃Mo(η-C₅H₅)Cl₂], [Cl(η-C₅H₅)Mo(µ-OH)(µ-SMe)₂Mo(η-C₅H₅)Cl₂], and [{Mo(µ-C₅H₄Buⁿ)Cl₂}₂(µ-S₂)] have been prepared and characterised.
