Abstract

The anion [Rh10S(CO)22]2–, obtained by slow decomposition of [Rh6(CO)14(SCN)2]2– in tetrahydrofuran, has been investigated by X-ray diffraction; it contains a bicapped square-antiprismatic metal atom cluster, with an interstitial sulphur atom.
