Evidence for the participation of surface carbon in the steam reforming of ethane over nickel catalysts

Abstract

Result of experiments using isotopically labelled carbon monoxide in the steam reforming of the ethane over nickel catalysts provide evidence for the participation of surface carbon species in the steam reforming of hydrocarbons.
