Oxidations of cyclopropane, methylcyclopropane, and arenes with the mono-oxygenase system from Methylococcus capsulatus

Abstract

The mono-oxygenase system from Methylococcus capsulatus oxidises cyclopropane to cyclo-propanol, methylcyclopropane to cyclopropylmethanol, and monosubstituted benzenes to para-substituted phenols (with accompanying NIH shift).
