13C n.m.r. spectra of highly 13CO-enriched metal carbonyls: observation of 2Jcccis coupling constants

Abstract

13 C N.m.r. spectra of metal carbonyls (>60%13CO-enriched) allow the first observation of 2JCCcis values which are an order of magnitude smaller than 2JCCtrans; this technique is also useful in the assignment of CO resonances as is shown in the case of H2Os3(CO)10.
