Ionic liquid mixtures. A modified quasi-lattice theory

Abstract

Free energies, enthalpies and entropies have been measured for molten silver bromide + silver chloride mixtures, and these have enabled an empirical modification to the quasi-lattice theory to be developed. Reasonable agreement is found between experimental energy values and those calculated by the modified theory for a range of silver halide + alkali halide molten mixtures.
