Thermodynamics of ligand addition to iron(II) porphyrins

Abstract

Enthalpies and free energies of ligand addition to iron(II) porphyrins, as determined by variable-temperature electrochemistry, were linearly related to the ligand pKa, while the entropies remained constant.
