Effect of ultrasonic irradiation on the solvolysis of 2-chloro-2-methylpropane in aqueous ethanol mixtures
Abstract
Ultrasonic irradiation has been found to increase the rate constants for the solvolysis of 2-chloro-2-methylpropane in aqueous ethanol by a factor of 1·5 at 10% v/v ethanol and 1·9 at 40% v/v ethanol.
