Hydroxide-promoted reduction of the corrole complexes of cobalt(III) and iron(III) in the presence of olefin

Abstract

An oxygenation system effective for electron-rich olefins which involves the hydroxide ion, provides electrons required for reduction of the corrole complexes of cobalt(III) and iron(III).
