Isolation of a new ecdysteroid, 2,22-dideoxy-20-hydroxyecdysone, from the ovaries of the silkworm Bombyx mori

Abstract

A new ecdysteroid was isolated from the ovaries of the silkworm, Bombyx mori, and the structure was determined by mass and n.m.r. spectroscopy to be 2,22-dideoxy-20-hydroxyecdysone.
