Interpretation of electronic spectra. Part 4.—Spectra of cyclopropane, ethylenimine and ethylene oxide, studied with HAM/3

Abstract

Ionisation and excitation energies of the isoelectronic series of the saturated three-membered rings cyclopropane, ethylenimine and ethylene oxide are calculated with the new semi-empirical method HAM/3. The results are compared with experiments, mainly electron spectra. Some anomalous intensity relations were found in the electron impact energy loss spectrum of ethylene oxide.
