Surface activity of methyl orange

Abstract

The aggregation of methyl orange in aqueous acidic solutions is accelerated by enlarging either the gas–liquid or the glass–liquid interface and occurs heterogeneously.

The subsequent surface activity of methyl orange in acidic solutions is confirmed by surface tension measurements.
