Magnetic determination of metallic nickel particles dispersed on X and Y zeolite structures

Abstract

A magnetic study of metallic nickel particles by the reduction of NiX and NiY zeolites in the presence of a second cation shows that, not only the reducibility of Ni2+ ions, but also the dispersion of the Ni0 particles formed, depend on which second cation is present.
