Metallocarbaboranes in catalysis. X-Ray crystal and molecular structure of 3-PPh3-3-CO-4-C5H5N-3,1,2-RhC2B9H10

Abstract

The preparation of two rhodium carbaborane complexes which have catalytic activity, 3,3-(PPh3)2-4-C5H5N-3,1,2-RhC2B9H10 and its carbonyl derivative 3-PPh3-3-CO-4-C5H5N-3,1,2-RhC2B9H10, is described; the X-ray crystal structure of the latter compound was also determined.
