Easily prepared polar support for solid phase peptide and oligonucleotide synthesis. Preparation of substance P and a nonadeoxyribonucleotide

Abstract

Persulphate initiated polymerisation of a mixture of dimethylacrylamide, ethylene bisacrylamide, and acryloylsarcosine methyl ester yields a beaded polymer which after reaction with ethylenediamine is a suitable support for both peptide and oligonucleotide synthesis.
