SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
(–)-Shyobunone (10) and its epimers were synthesized from methylcyclobutene (1) and L-piperitone (2) in ca. 24% overall yield via irradiation followed by thermolysis of the reduced intermediate photoadduct (4).
