Microwave spectrum and molecular structure of disulphur dichloride, S2Cl2

Abstract

The microwave spectrum of S2Cl2 has been observed and analysed, leading to precise geometrical parameters and 35Cl quadrupole coupling constants; the SS bond length is shorter than the standard single bond length but not as short as that in S2F2.
