Isolation and characterization of selenoketens

Abstract

Selenoketens, formed by pyrolysis of 4-allkyl-1,2,3-selenadiazoles in the vapour phase, may be isolated at –196 °C as highly coloured deposits and undergo characteristic chemical reactions.
