Experimental investigation of the effects of magnetic fields on some radical recombination reactions

Abstract

Any effect of a 1.25 T magnetic field on the yields of products from the photolysis of trichloro-bromomethane in the presence of toluene is < 2 % and is smaller than that predicted theoretically. A novel accurate method for investigating such effects is described.
