Effects of liquid structures on chemical reactions and conformational changes of non-rigid molecules in condensed phases

Abstract

A physical derivation of the rigorous theory for chemical equilibria and intramolecular structures of non-rigid molecules in condensed phases is presented. Applications of the theory are reviewed and the importance of steric or packing effects on equilibrium chemical phenomena in liquids is stressed.
