Ring inversion in the cyclohexenyl radical

Abstract

Activation parametes for ring inversion in the cyclohexenyl radical (ΔH‡= 6·81 ± 0·58 kcal mol–1, ΔS‡=–0·04 ± 2·40 cal K–1 mol–1, and ΔG298= 6·82 ±0·98 kcal mol–1) have been determined by variable temperature e.s.r. spectroscopy.
