Magnetic circular dichroism evidence for the paramagnetism of tetracarbonyliron(0): low-temperature matrix studies

Abstract

The temperature dependence of the magnetic circular dichroism spectrum of matrix-isolated [Fe(CO)4] shows that the molecule is paramagnetic.
