Palladium chloride–π-allyl complexes from calciferol and related compounds

Abstract

π-Allyl complexes of palladium have been prepared from calciferol, ergosterol, 3-epi-ergosterol, and 7-dehydrocholesterol; in contrast, cholesterol afforded cholesteryl chloride under similar conditions.
