Phenylpentafluorosilicate anion; 19F nuclear magnetic resonance evidence

Abstract

The existence of the six-co-ordinate phenylpentafluorosilicate anion [PhSiF5]2– in solution is confirmed by 19F n.m.r. spectroscopy.
