Trifluoroacetate as bridging ligand for antimony(V): X-ray molecular structure of µ-Oxo-µ-bis(trifluoroacetato)bis[trifluoroantimony(V)]

Abstract

Sb2(CF3CO2)F9(I) and Sb2O(CF3CO2)2F6(II) have been obtained from the reaction of trifluoroacetic anhydride and antimony(V) fluoride and characterised by 19F n.m.r. spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography, respectively.
