Reactivity patterns in phenolysis reactions. Evidence for the importance of π complexing

Abstract

Changing reactivity patterns in solvolysis of a series of alkyl and arylalkyl chlorides in six mixed phenolic solvents provide evidence for the importance of π-complexing in phenolysis reactions.
