The effect of concentration on the triplet yield of pyrene in poly(methylmethacrylate)

Abstract

The triplet yield of pyrene in poly(methylmethacrylate) decreases with increasing concentration in the same way as does total fluorescence yield, showing that concentration quenching of total fluorescence is to be attributed to enchanced internal conversion rather than intersystem crossing.
