Graph theory of free radicals. Validation of a recent assertion and its relation to the pairing theorem

Abstract

The criteria for the occurrence of a symmetric eigenvector in odd graphs are deduced; these confirm the validity of a recent assertion concerning the cause of such an eigenvector. The relationship to the Coulson–Rushbrooke Pairing Theorem is noted.
