Abstract
The osmotic coefficients and enthalpies of mixing of aqueous solutions of urea + glycine, urea +α-alanine, urea +α-aminobutyric acid and urea + glycylglycine and the enthalpy of dilution of glycylglycine have been determined at 298.15 K. The experimental results are discussed in terms of the McMillan—Mayer theory of solutions.
