Role of intermolecular hydrogen-bonding in the crystal structure of α-chloroacetic acid
Abstract
The crystal structure of α-chloroacetic acid has revealed that it exists as a hydrogen-bonded tetramer, which allows for the presence of two non-equivalent chlorine atoms.
