X-Ray crystal structure of Er6Pb3(SiO4)6, a second phase in the lead–erbium–silicate system

Abstract

A study of the three-component systems Er2O3PbO–SiO2 has revealed the existence of two new phrases, Er6Pb3(SiO4)6 and Er4PbSi5O17, and these have been prepared as single crystals; the crystal structure of Er6Pb3(SiO4)6 is described.
