Structures and elimination reactions of the trialkylamine adducts formed by monosubstituted tricarbonylhexadieniumiron cations

Abstract

The adducts of tertiary amines with tricarbonyl-(hexa-1,3-dienium)iron hexafluorophosphates undergo elimination on heating to give triene complexes in good yields.
