Unconventional nucleotide analogues. Part XIV. (2S,4S)-2-Hydroxy-methyl- and 2-carboxy-4-(pyrimidin-1-yl)pyrrolidines

Abstract

The syntheses of (4S)-4-uracilyl-, 4-thyminyl-, and 4-cytosinyl-L-prolinol and (4S)-4-uracilyl- and 4-thyminyl-L-proline are described. The uracil derivatives (12a) and (13e) inhibit the growth of BHK cells.
