Photochemical isomerisation of perfluoroalkyl olefins

Abstract

Intense u.v. irradiation causes rearrangement of tetra- and tri-(perfluoroalkyl)ethylenes to less substituted ethylenes including the terminal olefins; migration of allylic fluorine and allylic perfluoroalkyl groups can occur.
