Photoreduction of chlorobiphenyls by NaBH4
Abstract
Photoreduction of 3- and 4-chlorobiphenyls by NaBH4 is described and a hydride-proton-transfer mechanism is deduced for the former case on the basis of deuterium labelling experiments.
