An unusual sulphur incorporation: formation and crystal structure of [Mn(CO)3{-SC(SMe)NMe}]2

Abstract

Consecutive treatment of [Mn(CO)5] with methyl isothiocyanate and methyl iodide yields [[graphic omitted]Me}]2; the molecular structure has been determined by X-ray diffraction, and shown to contain a previously unreported bridging chelate ligand.
