Solvated electrons in hexamethylphosphoramide. Part 1.—Conductivity of solutions of alkali metals
Abstract
Apparatus for the preparation, and measurement of the conductance, of solutions of lithium, sodium and potassium in hexamethylphosphoramide is described. The time- and concentration-dependence of the conductance of these solutions have been measured and are discussed. The results of some e.s.r. measurements are also presented.
