Sorption–diffusion in heterogeneous systems. Part 7.—Experimental model of competitive dye sorption

Abstract

Experimental studies have been made of the competitive sorption dynamics of two different dye molecules on rigid porous substrates (silica-alumina spheres) of known pore structure. The experimental results are easily rationalized and simulated with the help of the diffusion immobilization model developed previously.
