Planar Ti2N2 rings with five-co-ordinate titanium(IV): X-ray structure of catena-di-µ-chloro-bis-µ-(trimethylsilylamino)-di-[chlorotitaniumIV]

Abstract

The crystal structure of the title compound has been determined; it contains planar four-membered (Ti–N)2 rings with planar geometry at N which are linked by Cl-bridges, giving five-co-ordinate Ti atoms in approximately trigonal bipyramidal geometry.
