The reported preparation of K3Ti(CN)6 in aqueous solution has not been confirmed, but we now confirm the preparation of K5Ti(CN)8 in liquid ammonia and give evidence for the formulation K4Ti(CN)7.KCN with a C2v seven co-ordinate anion; the Tio complex K4Ti(CN)4 has also been isolated.
