Dithiocarbonimidatoplatinum(II) complexes, Pt(S2C:NR)L2, are obtained from Pt(allene)L2, PtL4, or Pt(PhNCS)L2 by a reaction with organic isothiocyanates that involves a novel sulphur abstraction.
