Polarographic determination of thallium, palladium, nickel, zinc and indium with diethylenetriamine

Abstract

The polarographic determination of the metal ions thallium(I), palladium-(II), nickel(II), zinc(II) and indium(III) is carried out in a 0·4 M solution of diethylenetriamine. Well defined and irreversible waves are obtained, which are suitable for the determination of small amounts (1 to 7 mg) of these metals. The method gives accurate and reproducible results.
