SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Adduct formation between pyridine-2-thiones and cyclic α-bromo-αβ-unsaturated ketones is followed by rapid cyclisation to cis-dihydrothiazolo[3,2-a]pyridinium derivatives. It is suggested that the adduct is formed by cis-addition.
