The heats of solution of PbO have been measured in a range of PbO + P2O5 melts. The heats of solution of P2O5 in the same melts have been determined indirectly. The integral heats of mixing of such melts are compared with the integral Gibbs energies of mixing determined previously by e.m.f. measurements.
